★★★★★

I have purchased twice from Solomons at Capalaba. On my first occasion I met with Louise. She is skilled in her knowledge of flooring and ability for matching and suggesting colours exceptional. The first time, I had a small area laid with a modern vinyl. It was no issue for them to attend the SMBI where I live for both measuring, quoting and installation. This second time, Wesley attended to measure up and although we were only part way through the work he still was able to make recommendations, give professional advice and measure. Roll forward a few weeks after plastering and painting was complete and their team member arrived to lay the quality hybrid timber flooring.Every email and phone call answered promptly and handled in a professional manner by Shivaun. They have a great team, are a knowledgeable and professional family business and I highly recommend their services.

From the time I met Louise in store, to when Michael came to measure and Steve and Jackson did the installation we have been so impressed with the service and genuine care offered by this team.Their pricing was competitive, their range extensive, and their experience was valuable for those of us who don't regularly need to buy floor coverings. Every step of the way they were very helpful and we couldn't be happier with our choice of carpet. It beautifully matches our tiles and decor, and gives the house a lift.Thank you to the team - you have been a real pleasure to work with.

★★★★★

Very happy with the experience. From the very beginning, the team provided fantastic support and guidance, helping us choose the right products and making the whole process easy and stress-free.The quality of both the products and installation was outstanding. The installation team was professional, punctual, and took great care in their workmanship. The attention to detail was excellent, and it was clear they took pride in delivering a high-quality finish. The end result has completely transformed our home, and we are extremely happy with how everything looks. One thing that really stood out was the flexibility and communication throughout the renovation process. Due to timeline changes with our renovation, we needed to move installation dates several times, and nothing was ever an issue. The team was incredibly accommodating, supportive, and kept us informed every step of the way.Even after installation, the support has continued, which has been greatly appreciated. We highly recommend to anyone looking for quality products, expert installation, and exceptional customer service.Thank you!!!!!

We recently had the Karndean premium flooring installed in our home with Solomon Capalaba and we are absolutely thrilled with the result. Michael & Louise were fantastic to deal with. Initially Michael came out to our home, and we were unsure what would be best option to replace the carpet with. Michael & Louise took the time to listen to what it was we were looking for in our new flooring, and we got very knowledgeable and helpful advice without any pressure whatsoever. With young kids and 2 dogs we wanted something that would be waterproof, scratch-resistant, durable, and easy to clean, making it ideal for pets, kids and all the messes & accidents that come with them. We were recommended Karndean Flooring and were able to take home samples to help us in the decision of what colour will go with our home; after making our decision, a date was set for instillation of the floor. Kyle came and did the huge instillation job over a couple days, doing a top notch/first class job. We could not be happier with the end result, and in the service, we received from the team at Solomons Capalaba. The whole thing has been a very positive experience & we would not hesitate in recommending Michael & Louise at Solomons Capalaba and the Karndean Flooring which they specialise in.

When Wesley came out to quote carpet for our house he was one of the three companies who I engaged with. Comparing the three reps that came out Wesley was the most professional of them all. Wesley there and then was able to tell me how much carpet I needed and what the wastage would be. I was so impressed, but not only that I was provided with large samples to take home and finally found the perfect carpet I was looking for. What else impressed me is that it's a family run business and Australian made. Wesley and his team in the office are very professional and extremely lovely to do business with. That was the sale side of business, as for Steve who has been with the company for over 18 years and Declan his son who installed the carpet, what an immaculate job they did, so professional and I can't express enough, how well our carpet looks. They did an absolute fantastic job and we sincerely thank Wesley and the team for such a wonderful experience in purchasing our new carpet. Five stars isn't enough for their customer service and professionalism. I highly recommend Wesley and his team if your are looking to purchase good quality carpet.Sincere thanks, BevnMerv

From start to finish, it has been a pleasure dealing with the Team at Solomon's Flooring Capalaba. Louise assisted with advice on the types of flooring, doing colour samples on computer using photos of my home to show what the flooring would look like. All Team members are on hand to answer questions or help with anything as needed. I was kept informed every step of the way as to where, what and how. Scotty, the Installer, worked around my dates and times and again, everyone always soo professional, accommodating and helpful. The Team as a whole are all soo calm which certainly helps relieve the stressful decision making. No-one rushes you or puts you under any pressure to make decisions. Thank you one and all for the amazing service received, the Professional way in which you run your business and the outstanding workmanship. Ecstatically happy with the flooring throughout my home. I should mention that I live an hour away from this Branch but chose to go with them due to the good reviews and distance, was not an obstacle for them - they took on my job no hassles.Thumbs up Team Solomons Flooring Capalaba - you guys Rock.

Thank you so much to Michael and Louise. We had an excellent experience dealing with you and your company from start to finish. Michael visited our house for the quote and impressed us with his knowledge, advice and patience in answering all our questions. Then, based on all the advice and samples , we decided to replace the carpets in our home with the Karndean vinyl flooring, which is fantastic. We love it! The installation team spent two days installing on 21 and 22 October 2024, and they were excellent. Friendly, respectful and helpful. Great job! Everybody on your team made the process so easy. We are very happy customers and can 100% recommend Solomons Flooring. Thanks again.

Yesterday we had our old carpets replaced in two bedrooms and we couldn't be happier with the work done. The whole process from measuring to installation was very smooth and incredibly quick with everyone involved along the way being very helpful and nice to talk to. Steve and his apprentice did a fabulous job, removing the old and dirty carpets and installing the new ones in no time at all. Recommend 100%. Thank you for your fabulous work!

I can’t recommend them highly enough. We were trying to match some carpet in other rooms due to some damage to two rooms. The sales person (Michael) could not have been more helpful and got an amazingly close match for us.The administration workers communicated with us so clearly as to what was happening and when and how to make payment. The installers were so respectful of us, our home and property when moving furniture and installing the carpet. It looks (and feels) amazing and it is impossible to see where the join in the carpet is in the larger room. The installers were also very kind to and conscious of the safety of my toddler and dog running around the house. The carpet itself is of extremely high quality. We’re very happy with the end result.I’d definitely use them again and recommend them highly to others.

Both Louise & Michael Fulton were so knowledgeable about their products. Michael came for a measure & quote at our home & was spot on with the different choices we could choose to replace our old tiles. They definitely went the extra mile for any question asked & nothing was too much trouble. Louise was ever so helpful in allowing us to take the different samples of vinyl home to see what would suit our carpets & walls etc. Our new luxury vinyl flooring was absolutely amazing & done in a timely manner. The workmanship was fantastic & we were thrilled with the quality of our flooring. Would strongly recommend this service to anyone wanting to upgrade their flooring. It was a pleasure from start to finish. Very happy customer!

The entire team at Solomon's Flooring capalaba were amazing. Louise in the showroom was friendly, professional and knowledgable when showing me the options initially - I was really keen on good quality vinyl planks. Michael when he came to my unit to quote was great - when we discovered that my subfloor was particleboard, with a separate unit below, he went away and did his research and came back to me to say that Karndean had done the testing on particleboard subfloors to meet the Australian standards for acoustic rating in units (I was unable to find any other company that had done this testing on particleboard subfloors). So I was very excited that I could go ahead with vinyl! Michael went above and beyond to get this information for me. The quote was very competitive as well. The various tradespersons that came and : 1) uplifted the old ceramic tiles, 2) installed the new MDF ply and LLP vinyl to the entry, living area, kitchen and hallway, and 3) installed the new carpet to the bedrooms and staircase were all brilliant - punctual, friendly, professional - and the result is fiest class and I love it. Thank you to the entire team at Solomons Flooring Capalaba. I can't recommend highly enough. They made the whole process from start to finish as stress-free as possible.

He made the process was very simple once we chose our colour and design. And now the floors have been done, they look amazing and we are so happy with the final result. Thankyou Michael and Louise for all your time and work. We will happily refer to you family and friends in the future.

I needed to get my upstairs flooring replaced and the job required both hard flooring and carpets. We also had limited room to move furniture and the team at Solomons at Capalaba were so helpful! They helped us with our selections and were very competitive with their pricing. They also agreed to a 2 day install which saved us having to move our furniture downstairs. Both of the installers Kyle and Joshua were on time, courteous and cleaned up afterwards. They also did a brilliant job and we are super happy with our new flooring. I would certainly recommend Solomon’s Capalaba to anyone in the market. Thanks again!
